Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Principles

Saqr Living Technologies LLC ("Saqr Living") delivers tailored engineering, high-value smart technology equipment, and bespoke automation services across the UAE. Because our services involve customized engineering designs, specialized imported hardware, and on-site MEP coordination, our cancellation and refund standards are structured around distinct project phases.

2. Architectural Discovery & Consultation Phase

Initial consultations and conceptual system walkthroughs booked through our website are complimentary. For detailed schematic engineering studies, BOQ production, or electrical layout drafting that requires an advance retainer fee:

• If cancelled in writing prior to the commencement of engineering drafting: 100% full refund of retainer fees.
• If cancelled after preliminary CAD/schematic drawings have been issued: retainer fees are non-refundable to cover expended engineering hours, but no further milestone obligations apply.

3. Bespoke & Customized Hardware Orders

Many luxury automation components—including custom laser-etched KNX keypads, anodized aluminum finishes, custom-length motorized curtain tracks, and tailored architectural faceplates—are made-to-order specifically for your residence:

• Once a bespoke purchase order is formally signed and entered manufacturing in Europe or designated partner facilities, hardware advance payments cannot be refunded.
• Standard stock items (such as standard relays or power units) may be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery, subject to a 15% restocking fee provided original sealed packaging remains intact.

4. Defective on Arrival (DOA) & Replacement Guarantee

If any hardware unit arrives in a damaged or defective condition, we provide immediate priority replacement:

• Clients or supervising contractors must notify our technical team within seven (7) business days of physical site delivery.
• Defective units verified by our certified technicians will be repaired or replaced with new genuine equipment under warranty at zero additional charge.

5. Project Execution & Installation Milestones

Project agreements typically incorporate staged milestone payments (e.g., Procurement, Cabling Verification, Commissioning, Final Handover). In the event of contract termination:

• Clients are entitled to all completed drawings, delivered on-site equipment, and software files paid for up to the date of termination.
• Payments for milestones already executed and inspected on-site are non-refundable.
• Any unspent balances paid towards future unstarted milestones will be reconciled and refunded within thirty (30) business days via original payment method.
